Born in Nigeria in 1957, Guy has been travelling all his life, including 30 years in the Middle and Far East as an International Manager with the HSBC Group.  A practicing Christian (with a Sikh wife!), his career included a wide range of banking roles, including country head for three countries, two of them Moslem.  His final position with HSBC was CEO of Brunei Darussalam, an operation with 700 employees and 11 branches.  He left HSBC in 2007 and in 2008 assumed his current position as CEO of Kingdom Bank Ltd, a Christian bank based in Nottingham. His extensive international experience has given him unusual insight into the values and ethical dilemmas of various cultures both national and institutional; and of the ways in which post-crisis finance may evolve.
